Madeira Islands

The Autonomous Region of Madeira is located in the Atlantic Ocean, southwest of European continent.With an area of 797 km2, includes the islands of Madeira, Porto Santo and the groups of Desertas and Selvagens.The formation of volcanic islands determines its rugged topography, with very deep valleys and mountains.The main and largest island contains the largest city and capital of the region, with a huge hotel capacity, as a huge diversity of supply for this activity, which is based on the region's economy.The attractions to visit the region are many and mainly related with limpid sea with inviting temperatures, the natural landscape, the gastronomy, the hotel offer the quality and quantity of leisure activities, always available to those who visit this islands. Furthermore the island of Porto Santo, much smaller, offers a beach with 9km in length, whose sands are ones of the finest in the world and is bathed by a sea always calm and warm. For some reason this archipelago is called the pearl of the Atlantic.

The Green Coast

The Silver Coast
